A note to the wise (DISCLAIMER)

Most of these poems, stories and pictures were created years ago and just as a disclaimer : they should never be taken seriously or literally in any sense. They were just creations that came from my own imagination and they have no literal or figurative influence or basis and are pure imagination. -JRC-

Where the Shackles Meet the Flesh

Where the Shackles Meet the Flesh

Why so serious?

Why feel worse by tearing your flesh?
The hands, closer
Sand lost by the grain
Will you dodge fear under your skin?
Lifeless corpses
All washed by the rain

They can't prove your
Innocence,
Endure the pain of thought
Blinded by your
Lack of sense,
Resistance can't be fought

Roses are Red

Roses are Red

Her wings are gold but silver lined
Her eyes greeted us as she would glide
The curses rose from every soul
From every heart left cleansed inside

Watch her in her grace and glory
As her beauty tells a story
Of her life of purity
Raining hope and slowly pouring

Roses are red
But violets are blue
If I were to lose her what would I do?
Thoughts in my head
Cycled through and through
This world abused her and blinded she flew
Away and depressed
The pain has still grown
And I was impressed, the restraint she’d shown
Yet she has been blessed
With a seed of hope
And again one day she will come home.

REVERIE

REVERIE
I run from my fate
As I walk beside an angel
The demon close behind
Through hallways in my mind
I hide and it seeks
Like a child’s game of danger
Its eyes appear to grasp
My neck as I just gasp
For air, it’s not there
I have to break, its iron hold
I want to banish, all this cold
Barren emotion
In my head
Indication
That I’m dead
I press my fingers to my eyes
To settle down and realize
I’m dreaming
Just dreaming
Imagination wild
My own inner child
Defining what I see
Is just another mystery

The Life and Death of Rage

Life
I am there, here and now, seconds from what you call hell, complete the circle, racing time, forgot the absence of my mind, bound to die here soon after, hold applauses for the laughter, the more you know the more I wait, here alone at the gates, days I sometimes stand in line, these dead stares will bore me blind, shattered into pieces, battered and so beaten, one last look and I’m defeated, no more games to play this time, all that I have is one last chance, done with fear, done with these binds, what I hold is in my hands, in my hands, in my hands.

Death
Life, a disease we all seem to share, we writhe to the end in all its despair, our souls are enslaved by the sins of the grave, but the blood still flows too fast, our angels infected, by the weak and neglected, the judgment is full of dismay, our peace is disturbed, from damnation we purge, and our spirits have all seem to crash, the meaning is fresh, the fear in the flesh, the passion just withered away,

Serenity, Now

Serenity, Now
My inner child’s crying
The melody was fading
And I’m tired of lying
Deceiving all and hating
So when did the music stop?
Left me to walk so lost
I’m only one man
Now, my feeling numb
My only sign
Of knowing what
Will make me fine
Always haunted
Again, I’m taunted
Serenity, is all I wanted

Welcome to the Wastelands

Welcome to the Wastelands

How can we all call ourselves sane?
The world turns to hell and we're still breathing.
When tragedy engaged,
It has taken your last breath.

Why do we all play their sick game?
The sun burns out and their eyes are bleeding.
An onslaught of hate,
Lets the angels rot to death.

 Entities of chaos
Plagued these lands.
They fill our hollowed minds.
Where emptiness once dawned

If they're hunting down the weak,
Will we save the ones we can?

Among us there are thieves,
Who steal our hearts,
Only leaving us to bleed.
Now, there are only scars.

Still we forget the stars,
All watching our demise
From so far away
 Forget the stars

Fame by day, infamy by night

Fame by day, infamy by night

Creeping silent strings of malice reign its life, a stab in the back really felt like a knife, the glory was lost in the blink of an eye, and the flesh torn apart from the acid inside, pictures were shot but the blood bled right through, an enemy of press was killed in its steps, dead to the world it crawls on the floor, whining and grinning and screaming for more, its reigning, its pouring, more guts on the glory, fame by day, infamy by night, the clock strikes the metal, it’s nowhere in sight, the grain is finally shot, its dignity tied in a knot, and now they shall burn, the way to make them learn, and now they will scream, I’m more insane than I seem….

HUMAN DEPRODUCTION

HUMAN DEPRODUCTION
Gasping for breath, slowly their flesh depletes
Before the onslaught of their worry
Promising, its lure, just entangled in its net
Thirsty for its guest, lonely, begging for relief
Adore the passion that’s unfurling
Witnessing the blur, vagrant, deceptive regret
With less accord and more decay
The liquid washed their skin away
When disaster meets desire
Their feeble eyes can’t take the worst
Of its insincere conspire
To commit a quenching of its thirst

DEAD STARE

DEAD STARE

"As you aim for me, it's useless dawning within demise.
Feel pain for me and I'm ruthless while you dodge all the signs"

You changed views from a point through the eyes of a saint,
And you chose very quick staring right through the gun.
Then, you felt the disgust while you scraped off the paint.
Can you feel less alone after blocking the sun?

"If worry never ceases, then hope never increases.
The pain will leave you resting, dead, in a thousand pieces."

When you feel this way, why would you stop?
When there’s nothing to lose will you reach for the top?
What you already know gives you the odds,
But could these nightmares be easily dodged?

"When you try to escape, only then, the wheels turn.
Now that you've entered, the walls start to burn."

The sun disappears through the blink of an eye
And the clouds creep in always begging to cry
With a fork in your wrist and a knife in your back,
This storm stirs up and the world turns black.

"Still I am hated as you stare at my face.
Just remember one thing.
You brought Hell to this place."

Conscience

Conscience

When you ask for forgiveness, I pray for understanding, when you stop to think and witness, I am right here standing, when you play the game by hands, striking every last provoking second, you endure what life demands, liking every last provoking second. There is no intention greater than, there is no chances later than, yours, one who waits below the clouds, conjuring all of your lies, an attempt to fool the skies, await the day to become wise. Where do the good times go? When did the good times fade away? When will the sadness end? When will these bindings mend? And how does this keep you from falling? We all have our faults, our lives aren’t perfect, we all have to face one final judge, what is the verdict?

Chaos Let Out Over Oceans Of Sympathetic Harmony

Chaos Let Out Over Oceans OSympathetic Harmony

In the midst of valleys consumed by my mind;
I embalm the agony, mahogany liquid
With my hollow gaze; yield the absurd line
Like vices with hammers, foundation broken
And the rain falls down, engulfs society’s sickness
Dissolves Mankind’s cyst on its reality
All hope subsides, the deity of faith
Grasping the bulls balls now, a wave of discontent
All things good, numb, now reign falsely
The keeper of the crypt once again unleashes his fiend
And below the sky, a light blue blackens
The clouds circle inward, the soup is now stirred
The war within existence is now overheard
By the angels flying; shedding human down
A paradigm of ascendancy, the supremacy is smitten
From the throne of its dismay and disillusions
And the Earth is stilled; bless the winged swine

Winged Swine

Oh, please won’t you count them fall
Crystals like a diamonds shine
Let them sit upon your hand
Watch them leave the day behind
Calling out to you
I’m calling out to you
Waiting now for you
I’m waiting now for you
Why won’t they spread their wings and fly
Let them loose and set them free
Let them soar into the sky
Take a look at you and me
Fell the frost come off their wings
Falling down and glistening
Stand and catch them on your tongue
And listen to the angels sing
Falling down to you
They’re falling down to you
Calling out to you
They’re calling out to you

Canyon Island City

To the place where
Every wish is granted
And your wildest dreams are handed
Straight into your arms
It’s a race there
You’ll never feel unwanted
And paradise is hunted
Down and bottled up in jars
You may face scares
By the people that you see here
But they’re just there to be here
And mend their broken scars
Welcome to my world
The chaos still unravels
May you be as kind as
To stop and lend a hand
Welcome to my city
Canyon Island City
A place where we might ask you
To stop and lend a hand
Welcome
Oh you’re welcome
To stop and lend a hand

DEUS EX MACHINA

Sifting through these shadows, he’s wasting precious seconds, picking up the pieces, the limits—almost endless. Staring through a pinhole, it slowly carves a notch, in anticipation, through the looking glass’ watch. The sweat slips off the bone. The wooden spokes surrender to the tension. The strings begin to part. And then the sudden pause to ease suspension. The gun delivers bullets, insisting its demise. The menace sheds its skin, revealing its disguise. He crumbles to his knees, and together realized. The thing that he had killed was the conscience in his mind.
